TIENTSIN BLOCKADE
GENERAL'S ANNOUNCEMENT
SHANGHAI, July 5.
General Sugiyama, the commander-in-chief in North China, announced that the Tientsin blockade is not being relaxed despite the Tokio negotiations.
The Japanese naval authorities announced the last chance for British subjects to leave Foochow and Wenchow would be today, when booms would be placed on the Mm and Wu Rivers, but the Britons are determined to stay in the ports.
