RUGBY, July 4.
The debate on the Far East situation in the House of Lords has been postponed in view of the early opening of the Tokio negotiations. Viscount Cecil, at the request of the Foreign Secretary, agreed to withdraw in the meantime a motion on the dispute.
It is reported from Tokio that, pending the arrival of military representatives from Tientsin, no date has been fixed for the opening of the AngloJapanese talks.
