CROSSBREDS MAY BE DEARER Dalgety and Co., Ltd., London, July 4, report:—The list of arrivals for the wool sales opening on July 11, closed on July 3. The following vessels in which we are interested have arrived in time: Mataroa, Kent, Doric Star, Tairoa, Port Wyndham, Fprdsdale, Waiwera, Akaroa, Mahana, Dominion Monarch. Our selling dates are:— July 11, 13, 17, 21, 25, and 26. Sales close on July 26. Dalgety and Co. expect that merino and fine crossbred will show a hardening tendency, and medium and coarse crossbred will rule 7i per cent, higher than closing rates of last series.
