OLD HOTELS
"WANT REBUILDING"
SIXTEEN IN WELLINGTON
The need for the rebuilding of many of Wellington's old hotels was stressed by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., chairman of the Wellington Licensing Committee, at its annual meeting today.
"The committee considers that very many of the hotels in Wellington want rebuilding," said Mr. Stout. "The owners should take steps to pull them down and have more reasonable accommodation provided. Tne committee says there are sixteen of them. They are not specified, but the owners must know the ones to which reference is made."
