DROP IN EGG PRICES
Dominion Distributors Ltd. report a further fall in the prices for eggs due to increasing stocks (especially mediums), consequent, it is alleged, on the dumping on this market of eggs from the south. This is usual at this season and affects all egg distributors equally. Wholesale prices are now quoted as follows:—Specials, 3s; A grade, 2s lOd: B grade, 2s 4d; pullets. 2s 2d, a fall of 2d per dozen. Dominion Distributors pay-out for last week s sunplies will be: Specials. 3s o£d: A grade. 2s 10£ d; B grade 2s 4d; pullets 2s 3d.
