THE PORT LINE

A NEW APPOINTMENT

Mr. N. D. Binnie has been appointed manager for New Zealand of the Port Line, the appointment to take effect from April 26 next. Mr. Binnie has been associated with the line for 27 years since when it was known as the Tyser Line, for which Bannatyne and Co. were the agents. The Tyser Line subsequently became the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, and later still the Port Line, with its New Zealand headquarters in Wellington, Mr. Binnie being assistant manager for New Zealand.

Mr. Warwick Gregory, local director and manager for New Zealand of the Port Line, is leaving Wellington for London in the Dominion Monarch. On his return to New Zealand he will resume his duties as local director of the Port Line.
