"HAPPIER FUTURE"
PROMISE TO THE CZECHS
APPEAL FOR CO-OPERATION
(Received March 30, 2 p.m.)
BERLIN, March 29,
Herr yon Neurath, in an article in the "European Review," describing his task as Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, claims to understand the feelings of the Czech people after their fresh scars. He expresses the opinion that they realise that they have been unscrupulously misused by the Powers who have no interest in seeing friendly Czecho-German relations, and appeals for co-operation in his efforts to promote a happier future. Dr. Hacha, the Czech President, contributes an article expressing faith in the Fuhrer's promise of "a happy future for the Czech people if they behave loyally."
