It was reliably stated that Slovakia is prepared to concede a strip of territory 15 miles wide along the Uz Valley. Hungary is reported to be claiming double that width. The Slovaks insist on compensation by the return of territory east of Bratislava, including the railway to Galanta which was ceded under the Vienna award. M. Zvrskovec, leader of the Slovak delegation to Vienna, consulted the German authorities. I | (Received March 30, 2.40 p.m.) PARIS, March 29. Hungary is demanding 650 square miles of territory with a population of 139,740, of whom 34,000 are Ruthenians.
