YULETIDE ACTIVITIES
The Taita Women's Institute held a cheery Christmas party for the children recently. Throughout the afternoon they were entertained with games and items. . The drama circle presented a "Nursery Rhyme Pantomime," elocu* tionary items, and a duet was given by Lorna Gadsby and Shirley Lavender, and Marion Draper and Joan Sage performed a gavotte. The .president, Mrs. Bonthorne, wished everyone a happy Christmas, and a party tea was served by the committee members who were the hostesses for the occa-
sion. '■ _ . j Another very pleasant party connected with the Taita Women's Institute took place recently when Mrs. Bonthorne entertained the conveners and secretaries of each circle at her home in Gordon Road.
