GENERAL DAWNAY
SUICIDE AT HIS HOME (Received September 30, 11.45 a.m.) . LONDON, September 29. It was revealed at an inquest into the death of General Dawnay, public relations officer at the War Office, that he had committed suicide by means of gas at his home on September 27. The coroner found that the suicide was the result of insomnia and was seemingly due to pressure of work.
