CRIPPLED CHILDREN
MOTHERS ENTERTAINED
Those who attended the party given in the English-speaking Union rooms yesterday afternoon by the social committee of the Crippled Children Society for the mothers of the children, spent a thoroughly enjoyable time. The rooms were decorated with flowers, ] and a cheerful and pleasant atmosphere prevailed. The guests, who totalled over 90, were received by Mrs. May, welfare officer, and were personally introduced j to the chairman of the social' committee, Mrs. E. W. Hunt. Mrs. Hunt wore a hostess gown of heavy black crepe finished with small white frilling at] the neck and cuffs, and having a hemlength sash of oyster satin. A silver fox fur was worn over one shoulder, and she wore a corsage spray of pink carnations. Her model hat was of black felt with a small veil. Mrs. H. G. Bennett helped her to receive the visiI tors.
