MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE.
Mrs. Porter presided at a meeting of the management committee of the Residential Nursery, Owen Street. Appreciation was expressed of the action of the traffic officers of the Wellington City Council in arranging a ball to be held shortly, half the proceeds of which will be donated to the Residential Nursex-y. The reports received from the various branches were most cheering and encouraging. Thanks were expressed for gifts in kind from Mrs. Irvine, Berhampore Branch, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Forbes, Mrs. Taylor, Miss Freeman, Mrs. Feltham, Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Hatcher, Mrs. Penman, Miss Sheppard, Miss Willett, Miss Hill, Mr. Ross, Queen Margaret College, Mrs. D. H. Taylor, Khandallah Branch, Oriental BayRoseneath Branch, Melrose Branch, and the Seatoun Branch.
