FAREWELL TO CHOIR
MEMBER

There was a large and representative gathering of the parishioners of St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Lower Hutt, in St. Peter's Hall recently when j a complimentary social, organised by Mrs. J. N. O'Shea and members of the choir, was tendered to Mrs. Frank Meyrick, who has resigned from the choir after 45 years of membership. iOn the stage, which was attractively decorated for the occasion, were Mrs Meyrick and her daughter, Miss Eileen Meyrick, Monsignor Connolly (Wellington), the Rev. Fathers Daly and Callaghan, Mr. E. P. Bunny (a former choirmaster), and Mrs. A. Dunn and Mrs. Oliver Abbott (former choir members). Miss Frances Strickland presented Mrs. Meyrick with a charming bouquet.
