"THE HAPPY ENDING"
The Wellington centre of the V.A.D.s of the Red Cross Society is preparing a three-act play, "The Happy Ending," by lan Hay, under superintendence of Mrs. P. H. Kinsman, and will present it at the Concert Chamber on May 4.
It is stated that prices are most reasonable, and no extra charge will be made for reserves, also that blind people will be admitted free. Many preparations are being made for the success of the play, and the cast is a good one. Lan Hay is such a popular author and dramatist that anything of his, it "goes without saying," will be both charming and interesting.
The V.A.D. girls hope that their many friends in other organisations will come along to their play and help to make it a great success, and also benefit the funds. The Wellington centre Townswomen's Guild is sponsoring the effort, and with their organisation as a backing success should be assured. ■ ■
