TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD
The Brooklyn branch of .the Townswomen's Guild held its annual meeting recently. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs. J. Crowe; hon. secretary, Mrs. S. Woodward; hon. treasurer, Mrs. L. F. Smith; committee, Mesdames Orr, Jameson, Andrews, Tucker, Cracknell, McDowell, Naesmith, Stewart, Rait, and Trivett. A competition for a shoulder spray was won by Mrs. Albert. The "Best Bloom in My Garden" competition was wt>n by Mrs. Tucker. A demonstration on hair setting was given by Miss Benseman, assisted by Miss Whiteman. Songs were rendered by Mrs. A. Troughton with Mrs. Fowler at the piano. The hostesses were Mesdames Tucker, McDowell, and Orr.
