TRIBUTE TO RETIRING PRINCIPAL
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
WANGANUI, April 29.
I Very high tribute was paid to Miss Tizard's splendid work at the Wanganui Girls' College by the Wanganui Girls' College Board of Governors at a recent meeting, and the following 'resolution was carried: "In accepting the resignation of Miss A. C. Tizard as principal of the Wanganui Girls' college, the board places on record its great appreciation of the very excellent work that she has carried on during her term of 6| years as lady principal. In that period the college has maintained a very high tone and standard of efficiency, due to the able" manner in which Miss Tizard has directed the work. ..."
