SERVICES APPRECIATED
At a meeting of the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board on Thursday, members expressed their appreciation to the retiring chairman, Mr. A. W. Press, for his- impartial rulings and capable grasp of the board's affairs and wished him success in the coming elections.
Mr. Press spoke of the untiring services given to the board by the retiring members, Messrs. J. W. Andrews and-H. W. Lawrence, and made'particular reference to Mr.'. Lawrence1! long servica.
