WATERSIDERS' UNION
BALLOT AMONG MEMBERS
A ballot to decide the official and executive positions in the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union was held by the watersiders on Thursday. A second ballot will have to be held for the positions of president and vicepresident, as the voting was not decisive enough. Those who will be eligible for the new ballot are as follows:_president, Messrs. P. Connor* and J. Cumming; vice-president, Messrs. M. Carlson and J. Carr.
The other positions were filled as follows:—Secretary, Mr. J. O. Johnson; walking delegate, Mr. R. Holroyd; local disputes committee, Messrs. J. O. Johnson, E. E. Canham (walking delegate, ex offlcio); executive, Messrs. J. Bullen, H.j Sherry, J. Thomas", J. O'Donnell, F. G. Burrows, E. Leniston, G. Bruce, E. Napier, arid J. Irvine.
