TWO MEN KILLED
CAR OVERTURNS
DRIVER ARRESTED

Two men were killed and two in- - jured wher a car capsized on, the r Main South Road -seven miles from Balclutha on Saturday evening. Those - - killed were William Hunter, married, .'-• aged 60, of Balclutha, and John Muir, -. single, aged 27, also of Balclutha. The injured were * Clarence Albert Barnett, single, aged 24, of Benhar, and' Owen Wyber, single, aged 24. " The car\was returning from the Wingatui races when a tyre burst, . causing the car to turn over and throwing the occupants heavily on /the road. Hunter and Muir were killed practically outright. The other .- two have slight injuries. B'arnett, driver of the car, was later arrested, on a charge of being in- . oxicated in charge of a car.
