'■"■ - Richard Parker, single, aged 21, farm -, hand, whose parents reside at Portobello; Dunedin, died in the hospital . yesterday afternoon from a fractured -. spine received when a car driven by - him capsized near Methven on Saturn "* day afternoon. William Pugh, ■single, ' aged 43, farm hand,- was taken to hospital,in a serious condition. He is suffering from concussion and lacerations - of tho. head.- r«*- -■ ",' ■' '. :, Apparently the car suddenly swerved to the side of the road and then back to the bitumen, where it capsized. The smash was- so' great that the body -of the car was separated from the chassis, •which , travelled 27 feet before 1 ping. Both' men were picked up unconscious. \ They were employed rat Mr. S. Hobinson's farm for only two days, rain preventing work on Saturday.
