At the Carterton sale yesterday, Wright, Stephenson's offered a good entry. Sheep sold at ■ late ,-rates, "and the whole entry was disposed ol by auction. Cattle were slightly easier than last week, and pigs sold at par prices. .Following are the realisations:—

Sheep—B.f. lambs, 13s .to 16s 8d; small lambs, 9s 6d to 12s 3d; woolly wether lambs, 15s to 17s 9d; woolly ewe lambs, good, 22s to 245; shorn ewe lambs, to 15s 9d; shorn wether lambs, to 13s 3d; shorn wether lam'os, small, 7s 6d to 10s 3d; cull lambs, 5s 2d to 6s 7d; S.D. ewes, to 18s 4d; failingmouth ewes, 6s 9d to lls; fat lambs, 24s 3d to 24s 6d; S.D. wethers, 15s 4d to 19s 7d.

Cattle.—Springing Jersey cows, to £6; fat Jersey bullocks, to £9 15s; fat cows, £4 10s to £5 17s; forward cows, £2 10s to £3 17s 6d; store cows, 35s lo £2 8s; cull cows. 10s to 325; cows and calves, £4 5s to £5 10s; fat heifers, £4 19s to £5 12s; heifer calves, 25s to 27s 6d.
