At the weekly Ekctahuna. stock sale, yesterday, the New Zealand Loan'and Mercantile Agency offered a large entry of sheep and dairy cattle. The sheep section consisted mostly of lambs. Shorn wether lambs had a good sale, while pens of b.f. lambs were well sought after. Medium and cull made up to full late rates. Included in the entry was the dairy herd of Mr. A. E. Bell, which in spite of the unfavourable time of the year, sold well, best sorts making from £7 5s to £5. A large entry of pigs came forward to meet with a ready sale at satisfactory prices. Realisations were as follows: — Good shorn wether lambs, account T. Smith, 16s; account C. W. Guilderson, 15s 3d; account Mrs. Christensen, 14s 7d; account C. Giles, 13s 9d; account F. E. Jaspers, 13s 7d; b.f. lambs, account Gray Bros., 15s; account C. F. Larsen, 14s 7d; account Mrs. Christensen, 13s 6d; medium shorn wether lambs, 12s 5d to 9s; medium b.f. lambs, 12s 8d to 10s; small shorn b.f. lambs, 7s 2d; 2-tooth wethers, 19s 8d; small, 17s 4d to 16s Id; good woolly ewe lambs, 30s 6d; good shorn, 20s 3d; small woolly ewe lambs, 16s to 15s 8d; cull, 14s to 12s 4'd.
