AUSTRALIAN BUTTER.
The Australian Dairy Produce Board decided in November to regulate the shipment of butter to the United Kingdom, and fixed the maximum quantity at 2500 tons a week. At a meeting last month the board was advised that the estimated quantity of butter withheld for shipment in all States would be 9960 tons at January 29. In view of this and other circumstances, the board decided not to alter the quantity available for shipment.
