ST. ANDREW BURNS CLUB.
All over the world Scots will :-b& celebrating on. Tuesday next the anniversary of the birthday of the poet, Robert Burns. Wellington Scots will gather at the Masonic Hall; The Terrace, where a dinner, concert, and dance will be. held. . -The president of the club, Mr. Jas. Torrance, will give the toast to the ."Immortal: Memory" and Mr. J. B. Thomson will give "The Ode to the Haggis" when this has been piped in with royal'honours. The proceedings will close with an oldtime dance and Scots dancing/in the large hall. The eightsome. reel will be danced to the pipes. A' good orchestra. has. been engaged, and among the artists for the concert will be Mrs. Wiltshire, Mr. Douglas" Stevens, Mr. P. Isbister, Miss Una Thdmas, Mr. w. McNair, Mrs. Londdn.vMr. A-Barclay, and Mrs. McLean, of Greymouth. ■
