DEPUTY GOVERNORGENERAL
SIR MICHAEL MYERS TO ACT
During the visit of his Excellency the Governor-General, Lord Galway, to Australia the Chief Justice (the Rt. 'Hon. Sir Michael Myers) will act as his deputy. A supplementary Gazette has been issued appointing Sir Michael Deputy Governor-General during the absence of his Excellency. Sir Michael assumed his duties as from 10 p.m. yesterday.
