H.M.S. AUCKLAND
NEW WARSHIP FOR DOMINION (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The Lord Commissioners of the Admiralty have assigned to the new escort vessel building for the New Zealand station the name H.M.S. Auckland. The ship, which is being built under the 1936 programme and will be completed next year, will lelieve H.M.S. Leith. . The information was received from the Minister of Defence by the Mayor Sir . Ernest Davis, who made the sug gestion through the Government tha the warship be named Auckland;
