Cases in the Hutt Court yesterday were dealt with by Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M. , ,". . For operating a heavy motor vehicle in the Taita Gorge at a speed exceeding'3o m.p.h., John Cowden was fined 30s and costs. , For leaving a motor-car unattended in High Street on the offside of other stopped vehicles, Alfred Ernest Keeble was fined 10s and costs. Ronald Yon Hartitsoch was oi'dered to pay costs for leaving a motor-car unattended in High Street on an authorised pedestrian crossing. It was remarked that this was the first case of its kind brought in the Hutt Valley.
