JAPANESE RESTRICTION

TOKIO, September 7,
Explaining the proposed emergency law to control trade and industry before a Lower House Committee, the Minister of Commerce, Mr. S. Yshino, said he intends to restrict imports of cotton, wool, and timber, an.d exports of iron products and munitions.
The Post and Telegraph Department advises that deferred telegrams may again be accepted for Shanghai.
