WIN FOR MIRAMAR
The replayed game between Miramor Hungers arid Nada in the second' round of the Victory Cup contest -wag again very even. Arfter honours had -been evened very close to the end, of - the game, Miramar ran out the winners by the odd goal in seven. Miramar - opened strongly, with the wind and slight drizzle at, their backs, and after fifteen minutes' play were two goals up. They kept up a steady pressure, until Pointon, of' Nada, staged a bright raid and ran the ball into the net. Near the end of the half Miramar added to their score, after a solid attack which lasted some minutes. Scorers for Miramar in the first half were Bailey, J. Donoghue, and B. Donoghue. Nada. had the better of the exchanges early in the second half, though' play was mostly in mid-field. The Nada forwards gradually asserted themselves, and Pointon and James evened • accounts. Shortly afterwards, however, B. Donoghue. following a fast raid, put Miramar. in the lead again. The game ended: Miramar Rangers 4, Nada 3.
