PROFESSIONAL RACE FOOTE THE CHAMPION j The 50-mile professional ■ provincial road-cycling race, held;, on Saturday afternoon,.attracted twelvfc riders, The course was from Thbrndon , to the Rimutaka foothills and back to MeKenzie Street, near'the Petone railway crossing. J.. Fpote: (scr) finished third and returned fastest time, gaining the provincial championship. I. Caulton.
