After the match the teams were entertained at dinner by the W.H.A,-Mr. £~ E, .jMcS.enzje,, chairman of the roanagemenT cdmiriittee', 'reared to'v: the ' friendly feeling that existed between the two associations, and said that an interchange of visits helped to cement that-friendship. Although Canterbury had lost.the match, they had put.up a wonderful fight, and had taken their -defeat; In the sportsmanlike. manner for which they were noted. Messrs. E. Pickup, manager of the Canterbury senibr team, and H. Snook, manager of the junior -team, replied.
