NON-INTERVENTJON FLAG
SHOWN
VALENCIA, September 3,
The crew of the British tanker Woodford, which was torpedoed by an unknown submarine when bound from Barcelona to Valencia, state that the submarine made no effort to rescue them, submerging soon after they took to the boats.

The British control officer, Mr, Percy. Walter, was unhurt..
