APPEAL TO DRIVERS
MANY ROAD ACCIDENTS
The Automobile Association is much concerned with the number of accidents which have occurred during and since last weekend, one of the worst experienced for some months. For some time up to last weekend there has been a general improvement, but those responsible for safety on the roads must have been... disappointed with the number of accidents in the past week. The association notes that the bad periods seem to run in cycles, which is extremely hard to account for The fine weather experienced during August undoubtedly brought out more vehicles than were on the roads in the winter, and especially weekend traffic. .... ■ The association directs the attention of all to what has been going on,;and makes another appeal to drivers to exercise the utmost care. ;
