"FIVE TO SEVEN" PARTY
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dyer entertained members of their family at their home in Tinakori Road at a "five o'clock'' party yesterday to celebrate the an-1 niversary of the wedding of their daughter, Mrs. Alexander Mclntosh, who is at present living in Bombay, I India. The rooms were attractively j decorated with spring flowers, narcissi | making a fine display in the lounge, | and pink heath, hydrangeas, and "mixed" bowls being used with much effect in the other rooms. A cable was received from Mr. and Mrs. Mclntosh, and those at the party drank their health, the lor-t being proposed by Mrs.^Mcln^;. I ■■"::, uncle, Mr. T. E. Y. Seddon.
Lighter blues, with b;r.c!-; or navy, are being worn in Paris. They are vivid in tone, such as royal or cornflower blue, with softer ones such as linen or hyacinth, and some turquoise. Entire sports suits are sometimes made in these lighter blues.
