PENWOMEN'S CIRCLE
The penwomen of the Lyceum Club held their annual meeting recently in the club's lounge, and at the conclusion of the general business the members of the circle entertained their leader, Mrs. W. Bailey. Several of the members spoke very highly of Mrs. Bailey's untiring efforts to uphold the tradition of the circle, and gratification was expressed generally at the fact that a number of the group had justified the existence of the circle, in that their work had been published by several papers and magazines. Mrs. Bailey was unanimously returned as circle leader for the coming year, and Mrs. S. V. Masters as hon. secretary. The guest of honour was presented with a floral posy, and an enjoyable afternoon tea was served. Members present included Mrs. W. Bailey, Mrs. A. D. Kerr (club president), Mrs. Hardy, Mrs. Herbert, Mrs. G Lyon, Mrs. Ingram; the Misses C. Keddell, N. Donovan, F. Richardson, and Mrs. S. V. Masters.
