The stipulation is for 10 points between 6 and 10 a.m. Last year, it will be remembered, a snowstorm caused the meeting to be abandoned, and unfortunately the worst periods occurred before 6' o'clock and just after 10 o'clock, so that the insurance was missed by a fraction. . ,

He has become very quiet. Provided he trains on, he should add interest to some of the important events in the spring.

Paper Slipper is in daily attendance at the Riccarton tracks. His tasks are of an easy nature at present, but ho will be striding along soon in useful sprints, in preparation for the spring meetings.

Willie Win has done plenty of strong work since he resumed training and has started to bowl along now at something approaching his best speed.
