HIGH COMMISSIONER BACK
According to a Te Rapa report, High Commissioner has been decommissioned by J. F; -Tutchen, who considers the All Red gelding to be as well'now as ever he' was and showing no sign whatever of the old leg trouble that caused him to be placed aside for a considerable spell. ' ■■ It was in the 1932-33 season that High Commissioner was. at his best, winning seven of the 16 races he con-tested-and' failing to-fill a place .on only two occasions. ' During the running of the : 1933 Great Northern Steeplechase he received injuries thai nearly finished his career. Yet in spite of this he battled out a stirring finish with Callamart. : With the object of effecting sohdness in his condition, Travelling Agent, the half-brother to High Commissioner, is being used as a stock horse around the district. 'The affected log is standing up to it, and it is to be hoped that the treatment will have the desired result.
