POINTS TO WATERSIDE

After a scoreless first half and eighteen minutes of the second without result, Waterside and Marist. got right into scoring, mood at the Basin Reserve and rattled on six goals in fhe 27 minutes to full time. Although there was little between the teams, Waterside made the better use of their opportunities and ran out the winners by 4 goals to 2. Throughout, the football was of an excellent standard, except in the shooting, and as'the game was played at high speed there were plenty of thrills for the spectators, especially; in the welter..,of goals towards the end.
