PROCEEDS FOR SEASON
Hawke's Bay growers have received £750,000 more than they did during the 1935-36 season. The wool cheque for the province is estimated to have totalled £2,387,000. This figures is based upon the sale of 108,500 bales at an average of £22 per bale. The 1935-36 cheque was' about £1,555,620, representing the sale of 129,635 bales at £12 a bale.
