BLEAK DAY FOR OPENING

The Wellington Racing Club's Autumn Meeting opened at Trentham yesterday in the rain, and thougli the weather later cleared a keen wind from the south and the general dampness made it a day to be braved only by the keenest racegoers. . The track was greasy, but in"better order than might have.been expected.
