TIMARU NURSERY FIELD
At present no fewer than 23 horses stand their ground in the Timaru Nursery Stakes for two-year-old pacers. R. B. Berry has Horsepower and Florentine engaged, and the Ashburton trainer, J. Bell, jun., will be represented by Dancing Pirate and Warwick. Other trainers with horses nominated are:—D. McKendry, King 'Axworthy; E. A. Berry, Direct Parrish; F. P. Brosnan, Battlevale; M. C.
