SNOW ON TARARUAS
WINTER CONDITIONS
(Special to the "Evening Post.")
OTAKI, This Day.
There was a fairly heavy fall of snow last night, and Mount Hector, viewed frtfm Otaki, is under a mantle of white. A light fall on Table Top did not remain long on the ground. The weather is very cold, and visitors to the Tararuas next weekend will be well advised to come prepared for winter conditions.
