CAR CHARGED
WILD BOAR ON ROAD
(Special to the "Evening Post.") OTAKI, This Day. Surprised a considerable distance .Tom its usual haunts, a large wild boar charged a motor-car on the Otaki Gorge road recently;. At first sight the driver of the car took the animal for one of the large tame''pigs belonging lo a nearby farmer, b'tft he was disillusioned when the boar, after running along the fence, suddenly turned and charged the car, denting a mudguard and a running board. It then ran away and was later seen about a mile up the road, close in to the bush. On account of the danger to children attending school settlers in the vicinity are await-1 ing*'an opportunity of putting finis to the boar's career.
