FORCED DOWN
DESTROYERS TO HELP

HONG KONG, March 9.
Four Royal Air Force , flying-boats were forced down by heavy weather in the middle of the Pacific. One aeroplane succeeded in returning to Hong Kong, and the others are sheltering in the Great Ladrones group. Five destroyers have been ordered to proceed to their assistance, as the weather is rendering the anchorage dangerous.
