In a match during the weekend, Combined Theatres beat Film Exchanges by three wickets. Combined Theatres, 104 (Lark 27, James 16), and 52 for seven wickets (Maxwell 23 not out). The best scores for Film Exchanges were A. Regan 17, M. Polglase 17, R. Hodson 15. J. Cleland 11, D. Large 10. Bowling for Combined Theatres, J. Dunn took five wickets for 25 runs and four for 15. O. S. James, two for 9, Larkin two for 11; for Theatres R. Marlowe secured two for 11 and three for 9, C Arnott two for 9, and three for 9.
