V.M.C.A. 515 (Hook 210, Gill'espie 88, Elliott 81 not out; S. G Smith four for 159) met King's Old Boys. North Shore 179 (Dacre 61; McCoy six for 93, Goodsir three for 46) met Parnell 85 for seven (Simpson four for 47, Emery three for 26). University 213 (Cooper 34) met Ponsonby, 55 for no wickets. Christchurch.— The final round of matches in the senior cricket competition began on Saturday. West Christchurch 76 and 11 for none, met St. Albans 180 (O'Brien 38). Old Boys 325 for four declared (Page 101, Eathorne 82 not out) met Riccarton 25 for three. Old Collegians 142 (Western 39) met Sydenham 87 for six. East Christchurch 207 (Mullan 75) met Lancaster Park 104 for three.
Dunedin. —Matches were played in dull weather with occasional light showers, and stumps were drawn early. Kaikorai 274 (Mathias 32, Talbot 60, Rennick 43, Constable 87) met Grange. Carisbrook A 208 for eight (Cavanagh 62, McMullan not out 36, Silver five for 47) met Albion. Old Boys 153 (Mills 49, Leader 44, Edwards not out 31; Jolly five for 35) met University 33 for one. Dunedin 95 (Robertson 36, Lambert three for 35) met Carisbrook B 161 for five (Sotting not out 82).
