HEALTH AND BEAUTY

EDUCATIONAL CLASSES

The widespread interest in health and beauty movement for girls is a marked feature, in many parts 'of the world today. It is all to the good that the modern girl has moved away from the desire to imitate the more strenuous gymnastic feats of her brother. She now cares much more for the type of exercise that, in addition to its health values, is conducive to good posture and grace of movement.

The Margaret Morris movement classes, which will be held at the Y.W.C.A. this year, under the direction of Miss Marjory Bell, will emphasise this two-fold aim of health and beauty, and they should prove popular. Classes have been arranged for business girls and women, and also for matrons. A children's gymnasium class will be held on Saturday mornings, and this will be under the direction of Miss Marian Todd. ,'■■'■

Classes of a more cultural nature also find a place in the Y.W.C.A. educational programme. Enrolments may be made for German and French
