GIFT EVENING

Mrs. V. Perkins and Miss R. Boyd were joint hostesses at a miscellaneous gift evening at the latter's home in Kelburn recently in honour of Miss Ararua Hammill and Mr. Arnold Andrews, whose marriage will take place shortly. , Musical items, dances, and competitions were much enjoyed by the many friends of the young couple, as also were the mystifying conjuring tricks performed by Mr. Leo Perkins.
