PLEASANT PARTIES
CORDIAL FAREWELL
The Ministerial residence, Molesworth Street, was very gay recently] when the members of the Cabinet, their wives, and a number of close friends of the Hon. W. Lee Martin and Mrs. Martin assembled to say Bon voyage" to Miss Iris Lee Martin, who left by the Wanganella en route to England. Mrs. Lee Martin received, wearing green chiffon velvet. The drawing-room looked very bright with floral decorations,' Iceland poppies, sweet peas, and gladioli, and a delicious buffet supper was served in the dining-room. In a happy speech the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage proposed the health of the departing guest, wishing her a pleasant voyage and a safe return to New Zealand. Miss Lee Martin suitably replied.
