BREEDING OF TOORAK
Mr. J. Richardson, of Dunedin, purchased the Champion Stakes winner Toorak at £50 when an unbroken youngster, and educated and trained the colt until sent to Canterbury. Toorak'is a shapely colt, got by Wrack from a Sungod mare, who was a daughter of Bellman. The Bellman mare was named Olipiri, and was by Wildwood from a Topthorn mare, by Harkaway. a son of Traduccr. Sungod was got by Harold Dillon from My Mistake, by Sacramento, son of Albert W., from Peggy, by Yankee, a son ol Berlin. ' ____—.
